Subcommittees

The Education, Employment, Health, and Housing subcommittees share information about related reentry efforts, educate stakeholders about the topic as it relates to reentry, identify shared challenges, and problem-solve to reduce recidivism.

Employment and Education
Reduce recidivism by increasing the number of returning citizens who are able to achieve their education, employment and career-related goals. 

Youth
Increase the number of returning citizens referred to education from various points in the criminal justice system, and improve educational outcomes of people who are currently and formerly incarcerated. 
 
Health
Increase the number of returning citizens who receive treatment/care for physical and behavioral health issues. 

Housing
Bring housing focused organizations together to discuss issues facing people returning from incarceration in securing safe, affordable housing.

Women
Bring women focused and supporting organizations together to discuss issues women face returning from incarceration and reducing the rising arresting rate.

Community Engagement 
Working collaboratively to market the PRC for new membership and sustain membership of current members.
